Who has lamps stuck in storage because they have passed their prime? Well, I had 2 of these 90’s beauties hidden away for years. My mom made them for me so they had too much sentimental value to just give away.
I decided to paint/stain them to match my guest room and now they fit in for at least another decade. Never underestimate the power of cheap paint!
I painted the top area of the lamp with the chalk paint and then used the antique wax over it. I used the gel stain on the bottom section. I wanted to add a touch of color so I dry brushed some turquoise over the rose and voila! New lamps!
